While I was browsing the Food and Dining section of Istorya, I got a Pm from Jr_Gong about food say a couple weeks back, I told myself hmmm didnt remember any friends with that nick who owned a food place but heck I thought the food must be interesting if someone thought of a nick ending in GONG, so I responded asked location, simple questions , etc. He ended up to be a buddy of a friend in a Car group. After the Pm's I said to myself i'll try it one day...anyway fast forward to today, I was sitting in the kitchen thinking about cooking something, maybe the asian grilled shrimps I was craving for but was too engrossed with reading Ruth Reichl's book about ... uhuh..



Anyway I decided to order Fratelli's Pizza, its a new Pizza take out place currently cooked I believe at home? Ryan correct me on that, so.. called and ordered, asked for his suggestion (ryan) and we ended up with a pizza called HARSIMRAN'S SPECIAL (never did ask why it was called that), its a 14 incher and priced at 250. After delivery , opened it and the smell went up to my nose, yummy..



I looked at it for a minute, when I eat pizza in a new place I normally look at the crust first, it seemed home made (not exactly the crispy type), the interesting part was tomato based sauce was mixed with wine, noticed little longanizza bits in it too (adding a filipino twist to it), with onions, green pepper, Tomatoes,ham, ground pork or beef, and what seemed like 2 cheeses. It was good and for a 14 incher pizza u do get full fast , one tip if I may, id rather have the crust a little brown and crisp at the bottom but other than that it was fine. So folks if ur looking for an alternative to what's in the market already, u might wanna try Fratelli's.

It will surely give u a Gong for your money
